Cairns Golf Course

Cairns Golf Club is an 18-hole Par 72 Slope Rating 122 golf course. The club was formed in 1923. The original design was a 9-hole course. During World War Two the course was used to billet Australian and US military personnel. After the end of WWII, the club was extended to 18 holes in 1949. Major improvement works have taken place over the en-shoeing years to the current highly-regarded layout you find today.

This is an excellent public golf course with a beautifully lush, undulating course, well laid out and set a midst tropical and native landscaping, with lush greens and a mountain backdrop. The course has several water hazards, which complements as well as making the course challenging to all levels of golfers.

Paradise Palms Golf Club

Paradise Palms Golf Club is an 18-hole Par 71 Slope Rating 135 Championship golf course design by Graham Marsh & Ross Watson. The course layout has a mix of challenging fairways & true greens for golfers of all levels this includes the stunning surroundings, set amidst the Queensland rainforest with views of the ocean and the mountains. Several creeks run across the golf course from the surrounding tropical rainforest which provides a dramatic backdrop to many holes, this iconic golf course is a must play for golfing enthusiasts visiting the FNQ region. This course is rated one of the best 20 golf courses in Australia, and one of the toughest. A golfer’s dream.

Half Moon Bay Golf Club

Half Moon Bay Golf Club is an 18-hole Par 70 Slope Rating 122 golf course. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just a beginner you will find the variety of the holes are interesting and challenging. There are a mix of long, open wide fairways and some tighter fairways that demand respect. The views are fantastic all the way around, and early morning or late afternoon you’ll share the course with a variety of local wildlife. Atherton Golf Course

Atherton Golf Course is an 18-hole Par 70 Slope Rating 114 golf course nestled at the foot of the hills of a national park on the western edge of town. Located 700 metres above sea level, and a pleasant drive from Cairns. So, to beat the heat and come play a comfortable round of golf in the naturally air-conditioned Tablelands. The course layout is challenging with the thoughtful design layout with lakes and bunkers to negotiate along the enjoyable round of golf.

PALmer Sea Reef Golf Course

Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course is an 18-hole Par 71 Slope 124 golf course. Designed by Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett and is rated in the Top 100 of Australian Golf Courses. Australia’s only tropical links style golf course. The golf course is 6135 metres allowing golfers of all standards from novice to seasoned professional to enjoy or test their game The course boasts wide undulating fairways, plenty of bunkers and large greens with well-placed swales and mounds to test the putting skills of all golfers.

Mareeba Golf Course

Mareeba Golf Course is an 18-hole Par 72 Slope 114 golf course. This is a taste of the outback on the Atherton Tablelands and close to the Kuranda Rainforest Village. With the wide, gently undulating fairways, the relatively flat golf course with native trees, majestic grey kangaroos roam freely around the golf course and with a few bunkers & the fully watered fairways and greens this provides the prefect backdrop for your golfing experience that is totally unique.

Mossman Golf Course

Mossman Golf Course is an 18-hole Par 72 Slope 122 golf course. The course is just north of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland. The Daintree rainforest is a wonderful back drop to the golfing layout well suited to both the serious and casual golfer making it the perfect spot to enjoy your golf game while relaxing under the towering tropical jungle of the of the Wet Tropic mountains in our unique tropical environment.

Mirage Country Club

Mirage Country Club Port Douglas is an 18-hole Par 72 Slope 128 Championship golf course. The luxurious resort style golf course is set in tropical rainforest with manicured fairways winding around the resort, with a few glimpses of the Coral Sea on some holes and fringed by a panoramic and beautiful mountain back drop. The greens are large, fairways are wide, greens are true but the rough in places is dense and unforgiving. The unique layout is designed by Peter Thompson & Michael Wolveridge, is iconic to the Port Douglas region. The course has also hosted several top professionals such as Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus (not to mention Bill Clinton!) and is home to the famous skins game.

Townsville Golf Course

Townsville Golf Course is an 18-hole Par 70 Sloped 116. A Championship golf course distance of 6120 metres. The club is reportedly the oldest golf club in Queensland. The golf course winds its way around a new residential development. A challenging design as it has very large undulating greens, hundred-year-old rain trees lining many of the fairways, this is a colourful tree when in the blooming season situated along the picturesque Ross River. This is one of the most pleasant courses in Townsville North Queensland region.

Tropics Golf Club

The Tropics Golf Club is an 18 Hole Championship Course and has hosted many exclusive PGA Events including the Queensland Masters (part of the former Von Nida Tour) and the Australian Legends Classic (part of the Australian Legends Tour). The course prides itself on its excellent presentation of fairways, rough, bunkers and greens. The abundance of wildlife and the chance to follow in the footsteps of the professionals help to ensure The Willows is a memorable golf experience. A quality golf course with an interesting layout combine to make The Willows a course worth experiencing, with Wildlife including kangaroos and black cockatoos.

Rowes Bay Golf Club

Rowes Bay Golf Club is an 18-hole Par 73 Slope Rated 116 Championship golf course measuring at 6155 metres, nestled amongst the cities conservation parklands. With natural waterways and a picturesque Castle Hill as the backdrop every level of golfer will enjoy playing this golf course.

Magnetic Island Country Club

Magnetic Island Country Club is an 18-hole Par 66 Slope 101 golf course with a distance of 6152 metres all set in a back drop of rugged hills strewn with boulders and lush vegetation and backs onto National Park. The golf course is a challenging to all levels of golfing ability. No sand bunkers to contend with, however the strategically placed patches of longer grass will create a challenge while protect some greens on the course.

Ayr Golf Club

Ayr Golf Club is an 18-hole Par 71 sloped 114 championship golf course, with a distance of 5861 metres all located in the bountiful Burdekin district. The club is home to LPGA Hall of Fame Australia’s own Karrie Webb.
